FOREWORD

Yes, you can listen to the Lord. It is not that difficult, and everything is ready, all the components are in place, operable and waiting for you.

Look at it this way; almost everyone believes in prayer. It has been said that there are no atheists in foxholes, in a time of stress or great danger all of us turn to our Lord and Savior for assistance or our salvation. However, there are requirements for a prayer to be effective, (l) the Lord must hear the prayer, and (2) He must provide the appropriate response. Doesn't this prove that the communication channels are in place, operating and available? If it were not true, how could prayer be effective?

Since everything is ready and waiting, why don't we use it all the time? How foolish we children are in that we do not take advantage of the blessings we have, especially since they will not wear out from over use. Quite the opposite, frequent use of the prayer channels strengthens and opens them, actually makes them more efficient.

Are you afraid of prayer? Do you think that God would not want to hear from you? Do you feel that you are not important enough for Him to want to listen to you? How silly that is! Do you know of a father that doesn't want to listen to his children, communicate with them, share their worries and problems and assist them every way they can? Then why should God, the Father whose Love is so much greater than any mortal, not want to communicate constantly with His children? Think about it! He does love you that much, and more!

Now comes the problem. You, yes, you the individual, have to open the communication channels, you have to start the process. And, there is a reason why that is true. It is known as free will. Here's how it works. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ wants you to love Him, but it must be your choice. He cannot force you, and will not force you to love Him. Therefore, although He is patiently waiting for you to call, you must put forth the effort, you must instigate the proceedings. Give this some thought: If it were not for free will, man would be no different than an animal, a robot, would react only by instinct or definite command. How, then, could you voluntarily love anything? And, Love is the very essence of God and everything that He has created.

Probably you are wondering how this communication process functions, what really happens when one prays to God and how He answers. It's really quite simple when you think about it. The Holy Bible tells us that we are made in the image of God, and that God is Spirit, therefore, we are spirit, too! Could we be His image if we were not spirit? As a spirit, we have a spiritual receptor that will receive every message that our Lord and Savior will transmit to us providing we are willing to use it, to listen to it. And that spiritual receptor is your conscience!

Don't laugh! Don't scorn it! How many times have you heard a "warning voice" just prior to doing something you knew you shouldn't do? Or, how many times have you heard a "warning voice" just in the nick of time that saved you from some danger? What is the source of that "warning voice", and how did you hear it? Now, for the tough question, why did you hear it? Are you beginning to understand how much God loves you? He tried to keep you from doing wrong, and He saved you from some danger even though you hadn't asked for help. He spoke to that little spark of His spirit that is in your heart and the message was immediately recorded in your brain. We call that apparatus conscience, that little guiding light that is with us 24 hours a day, for every day of our life.

It should be easily understood that our Lord and Savior wants to be in constant contact with us, His children. The Bible advises us to pray unceasingly, to pray constantly, but will He speak if we do not listen? Would your earthly father continue to speak to you if he knew you were not listening?

With practice, with understanding and with greater love for God, He will converse with you constantly, and He will answer every prayer, every request providing it is beneficial for the development of your soul. Yes, you can listen to the Lord. Yes, you can converse with Him in the same manner as other men have done throughout the history of mankind. The Old Testament of the Bible has recorded hundreds of correspondences between our Father in Heaven and His children.

Is there any reason to believe that we mortals of this earth are any different today than the mortals of 500, 2000, or 3000 years ago? Are they not all children? Is it not the same God, the same Father? Should His love for us be different than for our predecessors? Should He not speak to us as He did to them? It soon becomes very obvious that we can communicate with God the Creator if we choose to do so, if we choose to be receptive to His messages of love. The annals of religious history are replete with correspondences between God and His children.

Every bit of information that God has communicated to His children has been beneficial and in accordance with man's ability to absorb and utilize the information. As man progresses the information is more complete, more detailed, but it is the same message of love, the same caring and guidance for His children. Now, is that hard to believe? Also, isn't it logical? Wouldn't you expect communications to develop in this manner?

 Who was Jacob Lorber?

God is a true God, a loving Father who has never failed to re- veal His will to men. Also during the past almost 2000 years His revelations have kept flowing to individual recipients, to men and women who loved Him deeply with all their being and were thus capable of receiving His Word, either through visions or through the Inner Word, or both. These mystics and seers received the pure divine teaching and it was their task to spread it and thereby restore the original teaching to its former purity. But they did not succeed because people's minds were held captive through fear and ignorance, and only few benefited from the divine revelations.

The most comprehensive of these revelations was received last century by the Styrian mystic and seer Jacob Lorber through the Inner Word. Born at Kanischa (Austria) on July 22, 1800 as the son of a vineyardist who was in his spare time the leader of a popular band, Jacob Lorber grew up in a poor rural environment, but in a family that was deeply religious and dedicated to music. From his father Jacob had inherited a versatile musical talent and he early learned to play the violin, piano and organ. This helped him later to pay for his education, first in Marburg and then in Graz, the Styrian capital, where in 1829 he obtained his diploma as a teacher for intermediate schools. But when he could not find a suitable position, he reverted to his particular love, music. He gave lessons in singing and the violin, practiced for hours every day, composed and sometimes gave concerts, alone or together with others. He was successful, but never to the extent he had hoped. During the years he devoted to music, Lorber followed also his inclination to deepen his spiritual understanding, diligently studying the Bible as well as the works of men who followed the "inward path", among others such mystics as Jacob Boehme and Emmanuel Swedenborg .

In his fortieth year Lorber was offered - and accepted - a conductorship with the theater in Trieste, a position that would give him the long hoped-for recognition and material security. But it was not to be.

Shortly before his departure for Trieste, on the morning of March 15, 1840, Lorber heard a clear voice in the region of his heart telling him: "Arise, take your pen and write!"

J. Lorber obeyed this mysterious call and began to write down what the voice dictated to him. It was the introduction to his first work, "The Household of God": "Thus spoke the Lord to and within me for everyone, and that is true, faith- ful and certain: Who wants to talk with Me, let him come to Me and I will lay the answer in his heart. But only the pure of heart, whose heart is full of meekness, shall hear the sound of My voice. And he who prefers Me to all the world and loves Me like a tender bride her bridegroom, with him I shall walk arm in arm. He will always behold Me like a brother his brother and as I beheld him from eternity, be fore he was." When Lorber realized that this was the begin- ning of a book and who the author was, he did not hesitate to renounce the offered material security and served the Lord as His "scribe" to the end of his days.

It is important for the reader to understand how inspiration through the Inner Word is received. Lorber did not experi- ence any states of ecstasy, nor was he a medium for auto- matic writing whose hand is guided by a spirit-entity. Fully awake he heard the voice and promptly wrote down what he heard. An expert describes the process as follows: "The subtle spiritual impulse must first have filtered through the mental sphere of the mediator before he can record in words of human language what he has perceived. This is also the reason why the Word of God, and thus each communica- tion, expresses itself always in the mediator's particular manner of speaking."

At the time of his calling, this simple man never suspected that the task he was given would keep him busy for 24 years. He rarely interrupted his work and wrote almost daily for several hours, obediently recording what the voice in his heart dictated to him, without correcting even a single line, as the manuscripts show. These works, eventually contained in 24 volumes of almost 500 pages each, not to mention a number of shorter writings, present an amazing phenomenon with the comprehensive knowledge they contain, the deep interpretations and detailed facts on the subject’s of cosmology, astronomy, biology, natural science, psychology and prophecy.

Lorber's greatest and best known work, written during the years 1851 to 1864, is the Great Gospel of John in 10 vol- umes. It begins with an explanation of the Biblical gospel according to St. John and then gives a detailed account of the three teaching years of Jesus, revealing to a matured hu- menity many secrets of creation and divine guidance.

To make this work accessible to more people, The Great Gospel of John was condensed by the German publishers to about a third of its volume and is now available in English from the Divine Word Foundation, 1999 Pine Grove Rd. Rogue River, OR 97537.

This literature will speak for itself to the reader with an open mind, who has the honest desire to learn the truth, possesses humility and perseverance in his studies. Here the truth seeker finds answers to all the questions that have forever puzzled mankind. He sees the great panorama of creation and God's plan with mankind unfold, begins to un- derstand the purpose of man's existence on earth, of life and death, of God's love and guidance and this knowledge gives him a feeling of security and frees him from his manifold fears.

But the reader must realize this: Only humility and the ap- proach with a pure heart and good will opens the door to the understanding of spiritual things.

May the honest truth seeker find in these revelations what he is seeking!

On March 15th, 1840, Jacob Lorber began a daily task that was to continue until his death in 1864. During that period of time Mr. Lorber served as a scribe for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, writing precisely what was dictated to him, so accurately and precisely dictated that Jacob Lorber never had to make a correction of whatever he wrote. Here is a sample of his writing.

"I was", says the Lord, "formerly to no created being nor even to the most perfect angel a perceivable and comprehensible God. When I caused My self to be perceivable, for instance, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, I did so by bestowing an angel specially with the spirit of My Will, in order that he could, during certain moments, represent My Personality." (Great Gospel of John, Vol. 6, chap. 230, 2-5)

"I have never in all the countless preceding creations appeared on any earth in the flesh created by the power of My will, but I conversed with My creatures only through the purest created spirits of angels. I destined this present period of creation to see Me in My eternal and fundamental Divine Essence, in the flesh and within the closest relation. And on this earth, a small planet, I will teach them concerning all preceding and succeeding creations. I have always wanted not only to create true and trustworthy children who are like unto Me in all things for all ages and eternities, but also to procreate, teach and guide them by My paternal Love, so that in the future they may govern with Me all realms of the infinite space. Therefore, I, the infinite, eternal God, incarnated the vital Center of My Divine Essence and revealed Myself to you, My earthly children, Myself as your visible and tangible Father in order to teach you out of My very mouth and heart the Divine Love, the Wisdom and the Power, by which and through which you are like unto Me, that you may rule, in the future, not only over the beings of this present, but also over the previous and subsequent creations.

"And thus I granted particularly to this present creation the infinite preference to all others, that it be in all eternity and boundlessness the only one, where I Myself (with My fundamental essence) assume a body of human flesh. I elected in the totality of the grand space of Creation your solar system and within it I chose your sun out of the two hundred million suns that rotate within the sphere of the central solar system of Sirius, and out of the planets revolving around your sun, I fixed this insignificant earth, where you live, to be Man upon it and I would make you My true children, infinite and eternal." (Great Gospel of John, Vol. 4, chap. 255, 2 seq.)

Dear reader, are you still with me? Have you read this far? Isn't this amazing information? This short quotation from the Great Gospel of John confirms the statement made in Genesis of the Holy Bible wherein God said that He created man in His own image. But then it goes much further concerning our future and our future activity. Do you sense the tremendous amount of LOVE involved in all of this?

It is awe inspiring to imagine that the Creator of all that has been or ever will be created selected this little planet on which to perform His greatest sacrifice, and then selects the inhabitants of this earth to be His "true children, infinite and eternal."

The above quotations are an extremely small sample of the dictations the Lord gave to Jacob Lorber. During the 24 years Mr. Lorber served as a scribe for the Lord he wrote 24 volumes, plus a few other smaller papers. And the information contained therein is truly fantastic.

Here is another sample of the information that our Lord has given to man through His scribe, Jacob Lorber. It is from the book "The Childhood of Jesus" which relates the life of Jesus from birth to about his 12th year.

The Bible tells us that Jesus, Mary and Joseph had to go to Egypt to avoid Herod's infanticide and this book confirms that incident. While living in Ostracine, Egypt, Jesus taught in much the same manner as He did during his ministry when He was 30 years old. On one occasion, Joseph, who was beginning to realize that Jesus was truly God, that they were one and the same, queried Jesus about worship and prayer. In answer to Joseph's request, Jesus said: "Joseph, do you really know how man should pray to God? See, you do not know that completely, so I will tell you.

"Listen! In spirit and in truth shall man pray to God, but not with the lips as the children of the world do, who suppose that they have served God by having exercised their lips for a time. And if you want to pray in spirit and in truth, then love God in your heart and do good to all your friends and enemies, and your prayer will be just before God!

"Now if someone has exercised his lips before God at certain periods for a short time and during this exercise thought of all manner of worldly things which were closer to his heart than all his loose prayer, yes, closer than God Himself -- say, can that really be called a prayer?

"Truly, millions of such prayers are heard by God in exactly the same way as a stone hears the voice of one crying aloud! But if you pray to God by means of love, then you need never ask whether you should worship Me now as the most Holy God and Father. Whoever prays to God like that, he also prays to Me. For the Father and I are of one love and one heart."

How does that affect you? Doesn't this tell us more precisely how and what prayer should be? Do you sense that prayer must be spirit to spirit and not some memorized babble or insincere readings?

Shortly after this incident occurred, three priests of the Roman Temple of (mythological) gods learned of the true God, i.e the God of the Jews. During their conversion to the true God, they planned to build a temple, complete with an idol, and thus worship Jesus. However, in His infinite wisdom, Jesus knew of their plans and advised them as follows:

"Now if you really want to build Me a temple, then build one that is alive and in your hearts! For I am alive, and not dead, and therefore want living, not dead temples! And since you already believe that the fullness of the Deity dwells in Me bodily, am I Myself then not enough of a living temple before you? Why should there also be a wood-carving and a stone temple in preference to Me? If the Living One is with you and among you, of what good and useful purpose then is one that is dead? For what is more, I -- or some meaningless temple and wood carving of Me?

"Oh you blind fools! Is it not more that you love Me, than if you were to build Me a thousand temples of stone and exercise your lips in them for a thousand years while dressed in hemmed garments in front of carved images of Me?

"And, if a poor man who was naked and hungry and thirsty came to you, but you were to say; See, he is a half-god, for thus do these high beings appear, so let us make an image of him and then set it up in a temple so we might worship it! -- Tell Me, if you did that, would it really have been any help to the poor man, even though you were to form his image of pure gold? And will it not be more advantageous to the poor man if you clothe him according to your love and then hand him food and drink?

"Is God not more alive than every man on earth, since everything has its life from Him? Is God perhaps blind, who created the sun and gave you a seeing eye? Or is He deaf, who made your ear for you, and He without feelings, who gave you your senses? See, how foolish it would be to think and speak like that!

"Accordingly it follows that God is the most perfect Life Itself, therefore the most perfect Love. How then will you honor and worship Him as one that is dead? Consider this, so that you may be healed of your blindness!"

Does that passage make you think? Along with love, is there not a lot of wisdom and logic in that message? Is there not an appeal to common sense in our worshiping of the Lord?

During the Lord's stay in Ostracine, Cyrenius was the Roman governor of that portion of the Roman Empire, and he became extremely close to and an ardent admirer and supporter of Jesus. Cyrenius was totally convinced of the divinity of the Lord and completely discontinued any worship of the Roman idols; he regarded the Roman gods as nothing more than figments of imagination. In his worship of the Lord, Jesus Christ, he did, however, accompany his prayers with a lot of sighs, which, as the Lord advised him, were not necessary. Then Cyrenius asked if he may pray to Jesus, and here is the Lords answer to that question:

"Oh yes, you may indeed do that -- but not with all manner of never-ending exclamations, but only in your spirit, which is your love towards Me, and in its truth, which is the true light that streams forth from the flame of love! (Emphasis added) Do you really suppose that I become more opulent, mightier and greater by the prayers of men than I already am without such prayers?

"Oh see, that is just why I have appeared out of My eternal infinity in this body, so that men should pray to Me more with their love -- and should therewith spare their mouth, their tongue and their lips! For that kind of prayer degrades the worshiper as well as the worshiped, because it is dead nonsense, a characteristic of the heathen! What after all do you do with your good friends and brothers when you gather with them? See, you are delighted to see them, greet them and offer them hands, breast and head. Do the same with Me also, and I shall eternally ask nothing else of you!"

Wow! Now, we know how to pray! All this lip service means nothing; it is an abomination before the Lord. Yes, we must learn to pray to God in spirit and in truth.

In all the dictation that our Lord and Savior gave to Jacob Lorber there is a considerable amount of information pertaining directly to our salvation and the ultimate union of ourselves with God. "The Great Gospel of John", comprised of 10 volumes in the German language and 6 volumes in English, is, perhaps, the master-piece of the Lorber dictations, and it is from Volume VIII, Chapter 30, verses 5 through 9 that the following quotation is excerpted.

"While man is still walking on this earth not fully reborn spiritually, it is not of particular benefit for him to know too much, and the future, too clearly revealed to him, would overwhelm his heart which is still too weak in understanding and easily reduce him to despair.

"Just think how people would feel if they knew for certain the time and hour of their physical death. Already they find the knowledge uncomfortable that they have to die; how much more uncomfortable they would feel if they also knew the year, day and hour of their death.

"Oh, it is a quite different matter with the person who is already fully reborn in the spirit of all life, the one who has his future life within him in all clarity, feeling it truly and actively. He can know the exact goal and end of his body in advance; for the time of removal of his heavy burden will no longer fill him with sorrow, but only with supreme joy. With an ordinary person, however, such a definite precognition would have a most deplorable effect.

"Therefore, you shall not too eagerly investigate the future, but be satisfied with what you know is needed for the salvation of your soul and also with the fact that I, in My love and wisdom, am sure to let everything happen at all times as will be best for either a good or a depraved humanity. Then you will find any good or bad future bearable.

"When you yourselves will have become reborn in the spirit of life, you will be able to see the future and that will not make you sad and despondent."

What marvelous provisions the Lord has made for us! What an act of Love! Just think: He loves us even in our imperfect state. And how difficult it is for us to love our unfortunate or handicapped brothers. In comparison, how shallow our love is!

In these trying times, many of us are concerned about the future and our future. Questions such as, "What's going to happen?" "How will this work out?", are constantly being asked, and we do not know the answers. Following are the Lord's comments regarding prophecies and predictions.

"On this earth, where the children of God are being educated, prophecies about the future cannot possibly be as definite as is the case with some other globe. In view of the earth-men's complete freedom of will it depends, first of all, on what the people want themselves and how they act according to their understanding and will.

"For if I said; 'You may understand, will and act the way you desire, yet only what I wish and tell you is definitely going to happen' -- well, if it were like that, My coming to you from the heavens would be quite pointless and all My teaching futile.

"Indeed, I say; If in the moral and national respect, only what I tell you must take place, and this irrevocably, you humans would have a destination no higher than the animals. Of what value, then, would be your reason, your intellect and your love and, from that, your completely free will? The only thing I can predict to you as definite is that this or that is going to happen to you if you will and act in a certain way. But if I ever told an individual or a nation in advance what would definitely happen, you would not have been destined to become children of God and I would not be your Father in My Spirit.

"Remember all the prophets who prophesied future events. Did any one of them prophesy something as irrevocable? Their prophecies were always subject to certain conditions of either betterment of mankind or change for the worse. Only My incarnation was predicted to men as certainty - regardless of man's will and actions - for the sake of their salvation because the latter is purely My work. Yet I let everyone who wishes participate in this greatest work of Mine.

"Jonah, driven by My Spirit, had to go to the Ninevites and announce their downfall to them if they persisted in their evil ways. He did not like his task since, as a prophet, he knew that My predictions are always based on certain conditions. The people of Nineveh did mend their ways and My threat, naturally, did not materialize, which annoyed even Jonah.

"And so everything I have prophesied to you and am still going to prophesy must understandably fall into two categories, namely, either the fulfillment of the good or the bad predictions. Thus there is never given a fixed time, for it always depends on men's volition and actions. For how could I say to an ever so debased people; 'Because you have turned so evil and have ignored My earnest warnings you shall -- in seven days from now -- be eradicated from the face of the earth by lightning, thunder, fire and brimstone!' -- and the people took this to heart, did penance and turned to Me? Oh no, I shall have mercy upon the people who have bettered themselves and shall bless, and not chastise, them."

At this point in the text, a Pharisee says to the Lord; "But, Lord, You must surely foresee whether or not the Jews and templers are going to mend their ways and according to that also tell if the predicted judgment will occur or not?"

And the Lord replies; "Yes, as a man, that is how you think, but I think quite differently. Have you never read in the Scripture where it says: 'And God had turned away His countenance from this people'? What does that mean? Behold, it means that when I have admonished a people up to seven times, I no longer look at what it wants and does. In short: The people, or also every individual as such, may then will and do whatever suits it and I do not take notice of it until its full betterment, or until the measure of its sins is full. According to how the people, or the man, wills and acts it will then fare. I have arranged things on earth in such a way that man's every action must be followed by a definite result." (G.G. VIII/99, 7 on)

From this quotation, we can easily understand that prophecies and/or predictions are not necessarily cast in stone; in reality, how man conducts himself as society, a nation or whatever is the determinant for the consummation of the prophecy. Unfortunately, however, mankind is reluctant to learn this valuable information, especially that "man's every action must be followed by a definite result". Therefore, the future of mankind on this earth will be dependent upon man's action, his love -- or the lack thereof -- to his fellow man. Whether it be bright and beautiful or as hard as the hinges of hell, our future will be our choice; we'll get what we deserve.

Somehow, someway (probably unknown to us), God has given each of us a disposition, an attitude, a way of arriving at conclusions dependent upon our individual logic and, perhaps, that is what makes us individuals. Mankind also has a propensity to associate and/or socialize with those who are similar to or compatible in their thinking process. Is that the origin of the saying, "birds of a feather flock together"? Perhaps, but it should be easily understandable that each of us, or each group of us, need guidance and direction in accordance with our specific nature in order to achieve the goal of perfection. Thus, a "sinner" requires a different lesson than one who is truly "righteous", but the experiences of each will assure the eventual maturity, and it will be accomplished without violating the free-will of either the "sinner" or the "righteous".

Lest we think that this is our fate, or that destiny played a part in this program, let us listen to what our Lord and Savior has to say concerning this matter. The Great Gospel of John relates an incident in which Jesus had made a prediction and then said, "Do not think, however, that this is what the blind worldy-wise call 'destiny', as though God had destined for everyone what he should expect during his shorter or longer life span. To think or believe something like that could bring death to the soul because that teaching is a secret diabolical scheme and presents the direct opposite to God's true life principles for men. Men create such destiny for themselves, due to the absurdity of their free will and because they do not endeavor to awaken all the seven spirits of life within them, which is the reason why they cannot also come to the contemplation of their inner true and imperishable treasure of life. Thereby they go astray, seeking the true inner light of life in the light of the world and happily walk and act in accordance with it.

"Once a human soul is deeply immersed in the densest night of its self-created worldly conceit, all the angels of heaven are unable to change its direction without interfering with its free will, and so no one can say: 'Behold, it was this person's destiny.' It was a destiny indeed, yet not decreed by God, but created by man himself. As far as God was concerned, He allowed it to take its course because of man's absolutely free will. And what I said about a man applies also to a whole nation. It is -- and remains -- the creator of its own temporal and eternal destiny.

"It would be completely false to assume that all this, which I have shown you through the phenomena and predicted by word of mouth, had to happen in this way. Oh no, that is not the case at all! Yet everything will happen in this way because men will it so, and the greatest and most powerful part of them are feeling quite comfortable in the night of hell, are stubbornly remaining there of their own free will and even upon My mighty call refuse to leave this night of death." (G.G. VII/52,1-4)

Isn't it an absolute shame that mankind will not listen and learn; listen to God and learn what our real goals are? With our free will, we can be just as stubborn and as obstinate as we want, or we can willingly accept and understand what we are supposed to do. It is not fate or destiny that forces us to act and react as we do; it is our decision, our free will that is satisfied with the shortrange, temporal gratification obtained in the material world, while totally ignoring the eternal future.

God has promised us that we shall be His "true children, infinite and eternal". Along the way, shouldn't we help ourselves become what He has promised we will be? What do we have to lose, if we make the right choices, the right decisions? What have we to gain?

There are many benefits from listening to the Lord. For example, it can be very exciting, informative, consoling and fun, and, best of all, it is filled with love! Truly, messages from the Lord that His scribes have recorded are awe inspiring, emotional and really expand the mind.

In answer to a prayer, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, dictated to His scribe, Gottfried Mayerhofer a short text on Creation. The final pages of this marvelous little text follow. As you read this little portion, do you sense the tremendous amount of love our Father has for His children? Does it expand your mind relative to what our future will be with Him? Here's the text:

"No being, regardless of the world or sun it may inhabit, can pride itself on having the same advantage as you, you tiny dwellers of this earth, this small grain of sand in the universe.

"On none of these great globes have I been personally as I was on your earth. Everywhere else, I only appeared occasionally as Lord and Creator; guiding My created beings, or having them taught by My spirits. Only here, on this unimportant lump of solidified, most evil matter, the place of exile of My greatest opponent, I performed the deed of My greatest humiliation -- and your greatest exaltation.

"Oh, do contemplate this step! Compare yourselves with all other beings living in the vast spaces of creation! What privilege you were given through this step of Mine and now through the grace of direct communication, when I am revealing everything to you, explaining My creation and allowing you to look into the secrets of My might and love, which up to now have not been revealed to anyone, not even the highest angels.

"And how are you behaving in comparison? How cold, how heartless, driven partly by curiosity, you are after more messages and forget at the same time that each word out of My mouth is a stream of spiritual light which comes to you from beyond all thinkable distances -- out of the center of My heart and My fatherly love to you, to enlighten, warm and draw you closer to Me.

"For whom did I create these countless wonders, these countless light and warmth carriers, the great worlds and suns; for whom did I create My spiritual heavens with their never ending joys, where one minute cancels out eons of periods of pleasure on other suns and worlds? For whom did I create all this; everything that figuratively expresses My own Self, so that you may see and recognize, personified, the One Who would like to press you to His fatherly heart? For whom did I create, govern and guide all this, placing the drive for self-preservation into everything, so that nothing would be lost that could once give joy to My children or might stimulate them into shedding a tear of joy or gratefulness at its sight? For whom else did I create it but for you alone, whom I bought, saved and exalted through My greatest humiliation!

"Oh, do contemplate all this! Do give thought to this as mentally you fly through the immeasurable creations and infinite spaces; think! -- that the One who created all that, wants nothing in return but your Love, the Love of a child to its Father!

"Where is a Father on your earth who would be capable of such sacrifice as I have shown to you? And, what do I demand?

"In two commandments I have written it with blazing letters onto the tablets of creation in My divine and universal Kingdom:

'Love - God above all!

and your fellow man - as yourself!'

"There you have the essence of all My many words. Do fulfill these two commandments of Love your Father in Heaven has given you and He will, in return, prepare such bliss for you which has not been seen or felt by a human heart. Here you have the short explanation of this long message. The creation of the Great Cosmic Man and the Great Spiritual Man would collapse into chaos and would be without aim and purpose if it were not for love.

"LOVE, LIGHT and LIFE, three living words of My creation; do take them to heart!

"Without Love - no light, and without Light - no warmth!

"Where these three words are not at the bottom of your actions, there are hatred, darkness and death! Love Me! -- Enlighten your heart! And warm your fellow-men! And the entire creation will hail you; for you have conquered the heart of the Father, you have raised yourselves to become His children and have seized Heaven with force!

"Do consider this! And do recognize, for once, fully the importance of My messages! AMEN"

Really, isn't that amazing? Isn't that Love that is almost beyond comprehension? Just imagine!, we tiny mortals on this insignificant planet called Earth are chosen to be God's children, "infinite and eternal"! Isn't it informative to listen to the Lord? Is it consoling to you that you have had a peek into what your future will be?, that we "may rule, in the future, not only over the beings of this present, but also over the previous and subsequent creations"!

Some people have a problem with the man, Jesus Christ, living as a mortal and dying as a mortal and at the same time being God. Other people just accept it without question, accept it on faith alone. But, through the many dictations received by various scribes, we learn just how "the Father is within Me, and I am in the Father".

Since God is Spirit, and we are created in the image of God, then we are spirits, too, in spite of our physical bodies. What really happens is we humans have a spark from God Himself placed within our soul heart, but in the man Jesus it was not a spark, but God Himself within the soul of Jesus. And, this man, Jesus had to undergo all the trials and temptations that any other mortal experiences; this in preparation to unite fully with God the Creator to become the Father.

This bit of information will be helpful in truly understanding the text of the following quotation.

The following incident is very moving, very emotional, therefore, please read it carefully. This information is from the Great Gospel of John, Vol X, Ch. 65, which refers to the ending of His ministry on earth, His crucifixion. Jesus Christ is speaking, listen to Him!

"The disciples retired for the night; but I left the house and climbed alone to the top of the Mount of Olives, where one could enjoy a wide view over Jerusalem and the whole surroundings.

"Here the Deity in Me separated Itself from the son of man, Jesus, and spoke to him.

"Look! Here before you lies the city of your suffering, which will begin in the days next following if you will, - of your own free will -, take upon yourself the yoke which is to serve for the deliverance of all mankind!

"You are, in your earthly body apart from Me, a man as every other. You have labored to awaken the Spirit within yourself, which abides there as the fullness of the Deity Itself. You have, by offering up your own free will, allowed the will of the Almighty to grow within you. But now it depends on your human will itself whether you will undertake the last most difficult work. Therefore, I ask you: 'Will you, as My Son merge with the Father, in Whom you will carry out all that He requires you to do; or will you, as a son of mankind, belong to this humanity alone and remain only of this world?!

"You can be a lord of the world and remain a savior of the world; but, you can also be a Shower of the Way to Me, leading to God's innermost heart, in that you fully merge with Me, and thereby become a Lord of Life for all eternities. You can be an intercessor of the people who, as beings created by My power, proceeded from and shall return to the heart of the Father; but you can also be a spokesman of love, which bids Wisdom transform its Righteousness into Mercy!

"So then, choose now, as it lies before you, what is to happen to your body: whether you want to travel the way beside Me or the way within Me; the time for the final decision is here!

"Now, the soul of Jesus, the son of man, spoke:

"Father, Your will is mine at all times; and may only that be done which is Your will alone! For what the earth can give me, that, first through You, became the earth. But I will go the straight way and, out of Your hand alone, receive what shall befall me, and therefore I will always obey Your will only!

" 'Thereupon the Divinity within the heart of the son of man said:

" 'Yet once more will I ask you again as today, and then, should you still give the same answer, it shall happen as you will! But now consider what the world will offer you!'

"The son of man remained upon the mountain top in silent prayer, and then, before the sun rose, he descended and returned to the home of Lazarus, without anyone becoming aware of it."

Yes, Dear Reader, Jesus Christ as mortal man, did make the supreme sacrifice for the benefit of not only the inhabitants of this small earth, but for the inhabitants of every globe, sphere, orb, planet, sun, and star in the entire universe; "the greatest humiliation and man's greatest exaltation".

There is a very good chance that at this point, many, many, many other questions have arisen in your mind. Perhaps questions concerning other planets, life on other planets, the size and construction of the Universe, or, perhaps, questions about Jesus Christ, how He lived, what He ate, how He traveled and where or what He said or did during His ministry. Regardless of your question, the probability is very, very high that the answers will be contained somewhere in the texts of the many volumes that have been dictated to various scribes by the Lord Himself. All you have to do is read and comprehend; the information is available.

So far, you have read just a small portion of the total New Revelation given to mankind by the Lord, Jesus Christ. Altogether there are some fifty volumes of New Revelations, with the first dictation beginning March 15, 1840. But, the most important thing is, "Did it strike a responsive chord in your heart?"

Give some serious consideration to these points:

(l) The information contained within these many volumes includes astronomical and physical science data that has recently been proven correct.

(2) The construction, arrangement and size of the universe is so magnificent that it is beyond human imagination. No mortal could have imagined how the universe was created and maintained. Our extremely limited science and mathematics do not contain comprehensible numbers with which to measure distances or time.

3) Neither Jacob Lorber or any other person could have imagined or dreamt all of the proven information that has been recorded in the New Revelations. This data is absolutely beyond human generation; thus, it must come from some other source, and only the Creator Himself could relate how everything was created and functions.

We cannot judge a book by its cover, therefore, until you read it you cannot understand all the love, caring and guidance necessary to lead a fallen spirit (you and I) back to its source, nor can we know the magnitude of the project and the blissful future of all spirits for all eternity.

Pleasant reading --- you will mature spiritually and enjoy every minute of it.
